FAQs

  • Who do we pick up the keys from?
    • We have keypads on the front and back doors lock so there is no need for keys. We will provide you with the code to the doors in the week prior to your arrival.

 

  • How far is the home from the ski lifts?
    • Mountain Gate Lodge is located a short 2km drive from Revelstoke Mountain Resort.

 

  • Do we need a car in Revelstoke?
    • In order to make the most of your vacation we recommend that you have a vehicle in Revelstoke. We are located in a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle of the town.  It is 5 kms to  downtown Revelstoke where there is a variety of restaurants, cafes and grocery stores.

 

  • Is there a Shuttle Bus stop near the house?
    • Revelstoke Mountain Resort runs a resort shuttle from the town to the ski hill and is operational during the day and early evening. The nearest stop is on the corner of Hay Road and Nichol Road and is about a 10 minute walkaway. Revelstoke has a very good taxi service and most of the drivers know where our house is.

 

  • Is there Wi-Fi in the home and how do we find out the password?
    • Yes, Mountain Gate Lodge now has a state of the art fibre optic internet connection.  The Wi-Fi password can be found in the Information folder located in the entrance table.

 

  • Do you have cable TV?
    • Yes, we have a basic cable TV service and our guest have access to our Netflix account.
